Jam Strips

Allo, it's me again, Steve. My Girlfriend and I are fans of a comic book called "Peepshow" by Joe Matt. In San Diego last summer we found a cool book by himself and a few friends of his at Drawn and Quarterly... it's basically a collection of "Jam Strips", where you and 1 or more artists take turns doing panels to a cartoon strip. So, over the summer we did a few of those ourselves, and continue to swap cartoons every week while she is at school! So what else would I do with them but put them here on my site! Enjoy!

I like this- the art work came out really good for something done in a diner! Come on- raining monkeys! It's GOLD!

Elaine's thoughts:

This one is Steve's personal favorite, not necessarily mine, but a funny one nonetheless. Very random and imaginative. I love the final panel... then again, I love anything with monkeys in it.
